    The Fascinating South

    [sightseeing bus tour]
Surprise yourself with the impressive contrasts and fascinating landscapes of the South! We start at the Visitor Center of the National Park that will take us to the Cumbrecita viewpoint, impressive balcony overlooking the Caldera de Taburiente. Here we can take a little walk with our guide or simply enjoy the scenery with more tranquility. From there we will go down to Plaza de la Glorieta, a multicolored square where we find a varied mixture of volcanic rocks and native vegetation, work of the palmero artist Luis Morera. At lunch time, free time at the Puerto de Tazacorte, where you can enjoy the sun and fish from the area in one of its restaurants. After lunch we went to the south of the island to visit the San Antonio volcano, a spectacular crater that erupted in 1677 and whose slopes are the best wine-growing areas of the island. Then we will continue heading to the southern tip of the island to see how the lava flows of the 1971 Teneguía volcano contrast with the white of the salinas that produce salt on the island. From here the bus will take us to our respective accommodations.
