Then we will go to the green north with its deep gorges and hamlets and the wonderful view from the viewpoint San Bartolomé. We will rest and walk through the picturesque town of San Andrés framed by banana plantations, which with its historic church square, is one of the most beautiful places on the island.
Then we will head towards the rugged coast of San Andrés and we will walk to the small Ron Aldea distillery where rum is made from sugar cane in the traditional way.
Then we will go to the Natural Reserve Los Tilos protected by UNESCO, through a narrow gorge with high and steep walls. Once there, we will walk through the deep laurel forest full of endemic plants and you will enjoy the sound of water and nature.
Los Tilos has one of the most important laurel forests in the entire Canary Islands. It is an ecosystem inherited from the tertiary period that became, in its day, the first Biosphere Reserve on the island, and today preserves a natural heritage of exceptional value.
A bus excursion that will take you, at times, to a fairy tale!
